José Selgas (Madrid, 1965) graduated in architecture from the ETSA Madrid, 1992. He worked with Francesco Venecia in Naples between 1994-1995 and obtained the Fellowship of the Academy of Fine Arts of Spain in Rome 1997 – 1998.

Lucía Cano (Madrid, 1965) graduated in architecture from the ETSA Madrid, 1992. She worked with Julio Cano Lasso until 1996 and has been member of the Cano Lasso Studio from 1997 to 2001.

SelgasCano was founded in 1998 in Madrid. They focus its work in the research on the construction process, attentive to the search of new possibilities for the nature starting from the use of artificial media, applying technologies borrowed of others fields. They have shown their work in the MoMA and in the Museum Guggenheim of New York, in the Biennale of Venice, in the Gallery GA and in the Museum of Contemporary Art MOT of Tokyo, in the Design Museum of London, in the Akademie der Künste of Berlin, in The Sheds Gallery of Sydney and in the MIT of Boston. In 2013 they were awarded with the Kunstpreis granted by the Akademie der Künste of Berlin and the Architects of the Year Award, granted by the German Design Council in Munich. In 2015, they designed the 15th Serpentine Pavilion in London.

Antoni Blázquez

Antoni Blázquez (Badajoz, 1957) graduated in architecture in 1985 and PhD Architect in 1988 from the School of Architecture of Barcelona. He is Vice Chairman of the Association of Consultants of Structures and professor in Structure at the Higher Polytechnical School of the University of Girona (UdG). He leads two masters on building structures (UPC and UdG). Author of several articles and papers on seismic design and calculation of single structures. Member of the Scientific Committee of ACHE (Association of Scientific and Technical Structural Concrete) and ACE (Association of Consultants of structures). He collaborates with RCR Arquitectes in consultancy structures.

BG Arquitectes consultores de estructuras was founded in 1990 and collaborates with RCR Arquitectes in the consultancy of structure in several projects.

Josep Bohigas Arnau (Barcelona, 1967) graduated in architecture from the School of Architecture of Barcelona. Since 2008 he is Associate Professor of Design of the ETSAB and co-directs the Master of Lighting of the UPC Foundation. He has curated cultural projects on housing, such as Barraca-Barcelona 2003, APTM 2005 and Piso-Piloto 2014. He has been a member of the scientific and organizing Committee of the architecture festival EME3. Between 2001 and 2005 he has been member of the Board of Directors of the FAD. He is trustee of the EINA, the Signes and the El Molino Foundation (FEM).

BOPBAA was founded in Barcelona in 1990 by Josep Bohigas Arnau, Francesc Pla Ferrer and Iñaki Baquero Riazuelo. The projects address architecture, urbanism, ephemeral installations, industrial design and cultural projects, highlighting among others the enlargement of the Thyssen Museum in Madrid, the social housing in the Forum in Barcelona, as well as the museography of the Cultural Centre of El Born or the Maritime Museum in the same city. They have collaborated with the architecture offices Martorell-Bohigas-Mackay, EMBT, Gigantes-Zenghelis, Ábalos & Herreros and Varis Arquitectes. Among the distinctions of their work stand out FAD Award of Opinion in Ephemeral Architecture of 1998 and 2007, the FAD Award in Ephemeral Architecture 2000 and the City of Barcelona Award in Design in 2007 and in Architecture in 2014.

 Hisao Suzuki (Yamagata, Japan, 1957) is a photographer who lives in Barcelona for more than 30 years. Since 1993 he collaborates with the architectural journal El Croquis, becoming their principal photographer and contributing significantly to the recognition of the magazine as one of the most prestigious and international publications on contemporary architecture.

Josep Maria Montaner

 Josep Maria Montaner (Barcelona, 1954) is PhD Architect and holds a Chair of Architectural Composition of the School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSAB-UPC). He codirects with Zaida Muxí the Master Laboratory for Housing of the 21st Century. He has given courses and lectures in Europe, America and Asia. He is the author of more than thirty books, some of them several times reissued, such as Después del Movimiento Moderno (1993); La modernidad superada (1997, new revised and expanded edition 2011); Arquitectura y crítica (1999); Sistemas arquitectónicos contemporáneos (2008), and Arquitectura y política. Ensayos para mundos alternativos (2011, with Zaida Muxí), all of them issued at Editorial Gustavo Gili. He collaborates in the newspapers El País and La Vanguardia, for what he has received the National Award of Urbanism to the journalistic initiative 2005 of the Ministry of Housing, and publishes in national and international journals. Currently he is part of the Government of the Barcelona City Council and is, among other charges, Councilor of Housing.

Bijoy Jain

Bijoy Jain (Mumbai, India, 1965) graduated in architecture from the Washington University in St Louis, USA, 1990. He worked in Los Angeles and London between 1989 and 1995. He has given lectures in Copenhagen, at Yale University and in the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio.

Studio Mumbai was founded in 1995 with the return of Bijoy Jain to the India where he collaborates with artisans, technicians and draftsmen who design and built the work directly. In this work in group is exploring ideas through the construction of large-scale mock-ups, models, material studies, sketches and drawings. Projects are developed through traditional and local construction methods and materials with limited resources. The work of Studio Mumbai has been shown in the XII Biennale of Venice and the Victoria & Albert Museum, has been selected finalist for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture 2010, and received several awards, including the Global Award in Sustainable Architecture 2009, the Spirit of Nature Wood Architecture Award in Finland 2012, and the BSI Swiss Architectural Award 2012.
