How to get to Olot
Barcelona Airport Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat: located about 122 km from the City of Olot. To link Olot, you have to go to the center of Barcelona by train or at the Aerobús, with stops at the Sants Station (Estación de Sants) or at Plaza Catalunya.
Connection options to Olot:
- Plaza Catalunya: By bus. The most direct, with the TEISA bus line to Olot on Pau Claris Street, 118.
- Estació de Sants: By train, combining with bus line TEISA to Olot.
The train does not arrive at Olot.
The most important train stations to reach Olot are those of Girona and Figueres Vilafant with a stop for medium-distance, long-distance and high-speed trains (AVE) coming from Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Toulouse and Marseille.
The largest train station with the best connection possibilities is Girona, with a bus station right next to it to connect with Olot with the TEISA bus line. From the train station in Figueres Vilafant there are also some connections by bus, but less frequently.
Other railway stations closest to Olot are located in Vic, Torelló or Ripoll, from where it is connected by bus to Olot, but infrequently.

From Barcelona: C-17 to Vic C-37 (axe Vic-Olot by the tunnels of Bracons).
From the center of the Iberian Peninsula: Highway A-2 to Cervera, continue on the C-25 up to the height of Vic, continue per the C-17 and then the C-37 to Olot by tunnels of Bracons.
From other points of Europe: Highway A-9 i AP-7 until Figueres Sud + C-26 and N-260 to Besalú and Highway A-26 to Olot.
